Dec. 4. Held during the weekend to celebrate the 4th year of Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), USGAA Panay and Tribu Kati Kati aeta youth leaders went to an experiential learning tour program entitled “Trip to Learning Wonderland”. Emphasizing the stregnth of Iloilo chapter, our awesome marine life and institutions supporting it and a number of Seacamper members, we focused this year’s YoUnified with marine conservation effort. Everybody was excited to plant corals and contribute to DENR’s effort to rehabilitate the life below water in Taklong Island Marine Reserve (TINMR). The group also went to see Igang Bay Marine Sanctuary to see the joint efforts of Guimaras Provincial Environment (PENRO) and Natural Resources Office and John B Lacson Maritime University (JBLMU) in protecting Igang Bay. This event is not possible without the people’s organization of Dolores, people’s organization of TINMR, JBLMU, Guimaras PENRO, and Kati Kati Tribe Youth Organization.
